So I created a wiki. I think this could take 10 minutes or 10 hours. I don't think this is the best format for me. It seems cumbersome and overly time consuming for anything I need to do at this time. I think if I sent a wiki around for the members of my book club or to get suggestions for easy reader displays or plan a potluck people would laugh. I know I would. On the other hand, I do now understand the point of a wiki and how and when it would be useful.
I don't use FireFox much; I'll move on to that task. No downloading here at work, I'll have to try at home. Looks like these add-ons could save a ton of time.
hee-hee! I am very particular about how and when to use wikis. WE are having an unconference here and I did use it for people to sign up and share topics (http://darienkidlibcamp2010.pbworks.com/) and we use a wiki within our department to collaboratively work on projects and documents.
ReplyDeleteAs for Firefox? I'll totally admit, I am dependent on it! I have a Delicious Add-on that I find to be the absolute best and keeps all the websites I come across accessible and easily tagged!
